I enjoy the sense of calm serenity in the morning, being the first person on the beach, after all the footsteps in the sand had been wiped clean by the tide overnight. The warm colour in the sky illuminated the cold mist in the air, and the waves churned the rocks making them rattle and scrape in a sound that reminded me of breathing.
