We saw the clouds on the horizon late in the day, and jumped into the kayaks to paddle out to see them illuminated in the warm light of the sunset take it in on this still summer night in Parksville.
This is my second time painting this image. I felt I wanted to do it on a larger canvas to better capture the expansive nature of this scene.
