This small study was painted from a sunset I was photographing from Christmas Hill for a larger commission. It’s a great place to take in wide 360 degree views of the sky, Victoria’s skyline, ocean, and the Olympic Mountains. In this case, I was looking in the direction of Pkols, (also called Mount Douglas).
