Rocks on the water at sunset bring the passage of time to mind. The sunset changes by the minute, and the surface of the ocean is always in motion. These rocks have been here since time immemorial, and have seen countless sunsets over countless years, but they shift and change slowly too, craggy in some places and smooth in others, shaped by the whim of the elements around them. While there, I couldn’t help but to feel my connection to the earth, to time, and their fluid nature.
