Summit Park

This is one of my favourite places, a meadow at the top of a hill populated by Garry Oak trees. These trees are particularly twisted and bent by nature, but I imagine that’s exacerbated here because this is the very northern tip of their range. They at once seem tough but graceful; in a way that’s acquired through struggle and perseverance.
