Description
Clover Point is right at the Southern tip of Victoria. It’s a great place to watch storms; the waves get big there, and can make one feel small. This particular day, after dropping my youngest off at daycare, I drove here, clambered down to the water, and took in the Olympic Mountains across the way. The sun was working it’s way through the sky on the horizon, giving colour to clouds, mist, and fog. Seeing so far, and looking so close into the tidal pools, feeling my feet teeter on the solid rocks beneath them; these things ground me, and remind me of my place in the world.
