Our family always tries to spend at least one weekend at this beach near Parksville, BC in July or August. This painting was inspired by a scene near the campground, after a long day of exploring the beach, walking the trails, and watching our children play and make sand castles with newfound friends in the middle of a seemingly endless summer.
