I was commissioned to do a painting of the beach at the Sea Edge Motel in Parksville, BC by a woman who had vacationed there every year since she was a little girl. I was so impressed with this spot that I booked it for my family, and now we’ve been there 3 years in a row. I painted this sunset while I was there, and will always remember this view, the long summer days on the beach, and hunting for bioluminescence in the water, still warm even after the sun goes down.
