This painting was a commission of a special place, and one I’d never heard of until I was asked to paint it. It’s a joy to discover these places. Westwood Lake is close to Nanaimo; a shining jewel lined with arbutus trees in a green valley.

Paper prints are printed professionally and locally at a print shop in Victoria, BC. Every print is carefully inspected by the artist, Mike Lathrop, before it is signed and numbered.
