I painted this painting from the same scene as the painting I blogged about last week, Glassy Water at Mount Douglas Beach.
Small canvases offer the opportunity to stretch creatively. On this 8×8″ canvas I employed a more pointillist style than I am used to. I wanted to capture the feeling of shimmering ripples on water.
