I painted this using a photo I took at Sunrise, on the Ferry on the way to Vancouver from my home in Victoria. The ferry offers a spectacular way to take in sunsets and sunrises, juxtaposed against the changing seascape of the gulf islands
This is part of a series of small paintings in which I’ve been experimenting with the use of texture with heavy body acrylic gel medium.
